Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge, participating in training sessions, and proactively sourcing answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis.
  • Comply with established processes through accurate implementation, continuous process awareness, and timely resolution of any areas of concern.
  • Propose process improvements by identifying opportunities, presenting recommendations to the line manager, and supporting suggestions with relevant information and insights
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet business demands, ensuring availability of stock for uninterrupted operations.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to verify inventory accuracy and ensure alignment with SAP records.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly to maintain data integrity and prevent operational disruptions.
  • Optimise stock control processes to minimise wastage, improve storage efficiency, and support cost-effective inventory management.
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock based on operational needs and lead times.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify usage trends, forecast future requirements, and support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards for stock handling, storage, and safety procedures.
  • Generate and present detailed inventory reports to management, highlighting key insights, variances, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain warehouse standards by enforcing housekeeping practices, performing routine maintenance tasks, and reporting any defects, hazards, or risks to mitigate safety incidents.
  • Coordinate warehouse stock management and distribution to production sites by receiving, binning, stacking, storing, picking, and issuing items in compliance with protocols and within required deadlines.
  • Implement and manage expenditure within budget by understanding cost components, approving spend in alignment with financial policies, and conducting monthly reviews.
  • Monitor actual expenditure by analyzing financial reports, identifying anomalies or areas of concern, and executing timely corrective actions.
  • Ensure effective implementation of SHE by delivering comprehensive training, completing training programs, and addressing any identified gaps or non-compliance.
  • Monitor SHE performance by establishing clear standards, ensuring timely completion of monitoring activities, and resolving issues within defined deadlines.
  • Maintain ongoing SHE compliance by reviewing current practices, identifying deviations, and correcting them within established timelines
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating regular communication, exchanging feedback, and supporting collaboration.
  • Manage service provider performance by tracking service level agreements, monitoring delivery against standards, identifying issues, and applying corrective actions when necessary.
  • Contribute to the team by actively participating in team events, identifying areas where support is needed, and providing the necessary assistance.
  • Engage with team members consistently and be an active, dependable presence in daily team activities.
  • Identify personal development needs and source suitable capacity-building opportunities.
  • Obtain the necessary approvals and successfully complete relevant self-development activities to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Support the organization by participating in company-wide events and initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to company-driven activities and consistently demonstrate the Enaex values in all professional interactions.

Requirements

  • Matric or Grade 12 equivalent
  • Diploma in Supply Chain management or similar
  • Code 10 Driver’s license
