It is the country’s primary electricity supplier, also trading electricity in the Southern African Development Community (SADC). Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting and investigating services.
• Provide and integrate engineering solutions or designs for asset creation.
• Develop and approve discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications.
• Manage and conduct product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations.
• Provide input into discipline specific technology vision strategy and direction setting.
• Conduct discipline specific technology research.
• Participate in national and international technical forums.
• Provide professional technical leadership.
• Provide production support.

Qualification(s):

• B Tech/National Higher Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits

Related Minimum Experience:

• 4 years related experience in engineering planning and design, design integration and engineering management in relevant technologies for power stations, electrical network.

• ECSA Professional Technologist
