The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Academy (ACRA) has multiple branches across South Africa, including locations in Kempton Park, Durban, and Kimberley. It is a fully accredited training and trade test center recognized by South African bodies such as QCTO, NAMB, and DHET. The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Academy (ACRA) is compiling a database of unemployed South African youth who are interested in becoming Apprentices in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Candidates will be placed in one of ACRA’s accredited training centres located in:

• Kempton Park (Gauteng)
• Pinetown (KwaZulu-Natal)
• Kimberly (Northern Cape)

This project is fully funded and aims to uplift unemployed youth through world-class technical training that leads to trade qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning.

Qualifying Criteria

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen
• Be under 34 years of age
• Reside close to one of the training centres
  (Kimberley / Pinetown / Kempton Park)
• Have Grade 12 (school qualification)
• Have N4 in Engineering Studies (Mathematics & Physical Science required)
• Be unemployed
• Male and female candidates may apply

• CV
• Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate
• Certified copies of N4 or higher qualifications
• Certified copy of ID
