Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate stakeholder engagements for street and place naming processes
  • Maintain online heritage registers
  • Assist with management of heritage sites and public art
  • Document heritage buildings, sites, and public artworks
  • Provide administrative support to the Immovable Heritage Unit

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Heritage Studies, Fine Art, Public Administration or related field (NQF Level 6)
  • No prior work experience
  • Must be a City of Johannesburg resident
