Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in plumbing maintenance and infrastructure repairs
• Knowledge of water and sanitation systems (advantageous)
• Code B (or higher) driver’s license
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair water connections
• Inspect plumbing systems and ensure compliance
• Detect and fix leaks and meter tampering
• Ensure adherence to municipal standards

2. Semi-Skilled Meter Installers

• Experience in water meter installation/plumbing
• Knowledge of water systems and basic plumbing
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors

Duties:

• Install and replace water meters
• Assist in leak detection and meter reporting
• Ensure compliance with meter installation guidelines
• Support municipal plumbing teams
