The Cross Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) is a South African statutory body established to regulate and facilitate the movement of passengers and freight by road between South Africa and other Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries. Its main goal is to improve the flow, safety, and efficiency of cross-border road transport.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating meetings, workshops and engagements with transport operators.
- Support the team with minutes, reports and presentations.
- Assist with maintaining and updating stakeholder databases.
- Provide administrative support to the Passenger Transport Sub-Unit.
- Participate in field visits, consultations and related projects.
Qualifications:
A Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:
- Transport Management / Transport Economics
- Public Administration / Public Management
- Business Administration / Management Sciences
- Communication / related field
Behavioural Competencies:
- Strong interest in public passenger transport and operator relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills
