The King Sabata Dalindyebo (KSD) Local Municipality is a Category B municipality located within the OR Tambo District of the Eastern Cape province in South Africa. It is named after King Sabata Dalindyebo, a prominent anti-apartheid activist and former ruler of the Thembu people.

• N2 Electrical Engineering Certificate or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Pole Climber Certificate.
• Code C1 Drivers License with PrDP.
• 1 Year experience

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TО)

• Performs specific tasks associated with the operation of a 4×4 or heavy specialized vehicle fitted with ancillary mechanical equipment (hydraulic crane platform etc) during line route construction.
• Performs duties associated with line route survey or preparation and clearing of
• vegetation (bush clearing, tree trimming or feuing, etc).
• Performs specific tasks associated with the construction of overhead electrical lines (bare conductors and aerial bundled conductor) as authorized.
• Performs duties associated with the installation and maintenance f line control equipment as authorized and in terms Of the Distribution
• Performs duties associated with emergency and fault repair assistance during normal working hours.
• Performs duties associated with unskilled cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment used
• Administrative and reporting duties
