Located on the southwest coast beneath the iconic Table Mountain, it is a major port and a popular tourist destination. The City provides all the services normally associated with a full-service municipality, such as water, electricity, waste removal, sanitation, new infrastructure, roads, public spaces, facilities, housing developments, the upgrade of informal settlements and existing infrastructure, clinics and more.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of a BTech in Civil Engineering
- Registered as a Professional Engineering Technologist/ engineer with ECSA.
- At least eight (8) years’ appropriate experience.
- Knowledge of Strategy and policy development; Financial management control and budgeting; Local government related legislation and policies & Water and Sanitation industry.
- Water and Sanitation municipal experience would be advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license.
