Requirements

• Appropriate qualification that allows for registration with HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Anaesthesia.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Anaesthesia.
• No experience required after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist in Anaesthesia.

Duties

• To administer and oversee the administration of Anaesthesia at all levels and service points. Providing clinical services in Anaesthesia subspecialties as determined by the department.
• Participate and assist in teaching and training of both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Perform administrative duties as delegated by the Head of Department.
