Internship Description

Takealot Group is looking for a highly talented Management Science Graduate to join our team in our Cape Town Head Office. The Graduate Programme will be split between all businesses within the Group, namely: takealot.com, TFS and Mr D.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree/BCom -Supply Chain/Management Science

Key Responsibilities 

Inventory Management & Analytics:

• Demand forecasting using historical data and market trends
• Real-time inventory tracking and stock level monitoring
• Understanding of inventory turnover ratios and KPIs
• Basic data analysis and Excel proficiency
• Familiarity with inventory optimization techniques

Systems & Technology:

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) understanding
• ERP system navigation and basic functionality
• RFID and barcode scanning systems knowledge
• Basic understanding of ecommerce platforms and integrations
• Comfort with inventory management software
• Analytical & Problem-Solving
• Critical thinking and root cause analysis
• Process improvement mindset
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify trends and patterns in data
• Basic reporting and presentation skills
