Bursary  Description

Tshipi e Ntle Manganese Mining is offering bursaries for the 2026 academic year which is inclusive of tuition fees, accommodation, laptop and prescribed books for the following fields of study: • Mechanical Engineering (3) – (Bachelor of Technology: Mechanical Engineering/Advanced Diploma: Mechanical Engineering/Bachelor of Science Engineering • Electrical Engineering Heavy Current (3) – (Bachelor of Technology: Electrical Engineering/Advanced Diploma: Electrical Engineering/Bachelor of Science Engineering • Chemical Engineering (Metallurgy) (2) – BSc or Advanced Diploma in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering • Industrial Engineering (1) – (Bachelor of Technology: Industrial Engineering/Advanced Diploma: Industrial Engineering/Bachelor of Science Engineering • Mine Survey (1) – (Bachelor of Mine Surveying/Advanced Diploma: Mine Surveying)

Matriculants

  • Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 18-35 years
  • The minimum qualifying level for matriculants is a bachelor pass
  • Preference will be given to learners who have university acceptance for the 2026 academic year within the specified fields of studies mentioned above
  • Applicants who are already on a bursary scheme or receiving any form of financial aid from another organization/institution will not be considered

University Students

  • Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 18-35 years
  • Enrolled in full time studies at a South African University or University of Technology
  • Applicants who are currently enrolled in a field of study specified above
  • Sound academic record with an average B-Symbol and pass mark for all subjects
  • Preference will be given to 1st year students

Minimum requirements

  •         An updated CV
  •         Recent academic record as well as an academic record of years of study completed where applicable
  •         Matric results or Grade 11 school with university acceptance
  •         Proof of current registration at the University or University of Technology OR proof of having completed matric (Grade 12)
  •         Certified Copy of South African ID
  •         Proof of residential address
  •         Indicate clearly which field of study you are applying for
