We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Bidvest Prestige Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility and ensuring the efficient and effective running of all warehouse activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Develop and implement warehouse operations policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock control processes
  • Plan and coordinate the shipment, receipt, and storage of goods
  • Ensure the safe and secure handling of all products and materials
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency
  • Manage the warehouse budget and ensure cost-effective operations
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and generate reports as required
  • Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Qualifications:

  • Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs
