Job Description:

We are seeking a Workshop Foreman to lead our team of technicians and mechanics in our workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive or mechanical engineering and extensive experience in managing a workshop.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and supervise a team of technicians and mechanics to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
– Plan and schedule work orders to meet deadlines and customer expectations
– Monitor and maintain inventory of tools and supplies
– Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of workshop equipment
– Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure quality and safety standards are met
– Train and mentor technicians to improve their skills and performance
– Communicate with customers to provide updates on work in progress and address any concerns

Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a workshop foreman or similar supervisory role
– Strong knowledge of automotive or mechanical engineering
– Excellent leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks
– Proficient in computer systems and software related to workshop management
