Job Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for driving and achieving sales target for the Western Cape Direct Sales Division as well as networking for leads. It will be required of the incumbent within the position to collaborate with all role players within the matrix organization to ensure teamwork and achievement of objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead, motivate and provide direction to the Direct Team Leaders /members in terms of Marketing & Sales strategies
2. Effective and efficient resource deployment in specific geographical areas to maximize direct growth strategies.
3. Ensure effective financial budgeting and planning for the development of the sellers
4. Ensure and monitor business growth and Brand development
5. Ensure targets of both Client and Installation Revenue are met
6. Managing the daily sales activity
7. Client Liaison
8. Reporting ie: Sales activity
9. Managing and disciplining of direct reports
10.  Ensuring Sales promotions are held regularly
11. Inculcate a strong focus on safety first and EHS Standards within the Region
12. Actively work towards enhancing employee engagement

Qualifications

• Sales, Marketing or Management degree / diploma
• Security industry experience
• Management experience
• Must be PSIRA registered
• Ability and willingness to attend functions outside of normal business hours including marketing drives over weekend
• Computer Literate (MS office, email, Internet)
