Position Purpose
- Lead and support strategic and tactical efforts to advance Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager’s organisational design, talent management, remuneration, rewards & recognition, performance management, succession planning, capacity development, strategic workforce planning & use of competencies, data metrics and reporting, as well as broader organisational effectiveness initiatives.
- Partners with the People Management leadership and other business leaders in planning and executing leadership development strategies.
- Accountable for the strategic and tactical design, development, implementation, measurement and on-going management of talent and leadership development systems, processes and programs that are aligned with organisational strategy and established business objectives of Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager and Transnet.
Qualifications and Experience
- B-degree in e.g. Human / Social Sciences (e.g. Psychology), Business degree with Organisational Development
- Post-graduate qualification would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in Organizational Transformation within large organisations with a complex operation of which at least 5 years at a senior managerial level;
- Requirement of trust and honesty in the handling of finances as per the National Credit Act Amendment 19.
- Must undergo Lifestyle Audit Standard Requirements
- Drivers’ license code 8
- Travel as required by the business
