About eThekwini Municipality

EThekwini Municipality is a metropolitan municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Created in 2000, it includes the coastal city of Durban and its surrounding towns and rural areas. The Zulu word eThekwini means “ocean and bay lagoon”. The landscape features a warm, subtropical climate, extensive beaches, hilly regions, gorges, and ravines. The municipality’s composition of urban, semi-urban, and rural environments presents a challenge for sustainable development.

Job Purpose

•  Undertakes tasks/activities associated with the collection, batching and distribution/delivery of mail and other related correspondence/documentation and items internally/externally and attending to general office, beverage and cleaning requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license
• 3 Months relevant experience.
